How we rate casinos
Every score on this site comes from a real account, real money and the same six checks. Here is exactly how it works.
We open an account at every casino we review, verify it, deposit, play and withdraw. Each area below gets a score from 0 to 10, and the overall score is their weighted average. The weights are the same for every casino and are shown below.
What a review involves

Licence check
We confirm the licence and the company behind it on the regulator’s public register.

Real account
We sign up and pass the same ID checks as any player.

Money in and out
We deposit, play and time a real withdrawal.

Score and re-check
Scores are signed off by a second reviewer and re-checked at least every 6 months.
What never changes a score
We earn a commission when some readers sign up through our links. That pays for the testing. It does not buy a score, a position or a review.
- Commission – rates are not visible to reviewers
- Advertising – is never sold as a ranking position
- Pinned casinos – are marked, with the reason stated
Questions about our method
How often do you re-test casinos?
At least every six months, and straight away when terms, ownership or licence status change.
Can a casino pay for a better score?
No. Scores come from our tests only. Commercial deals never change a score or a ranking.
Why is a casino I like missing?
We only list casinos licensed for this market. Others may be waiting for a full test.
