How casino wagering works in Great Britain
Wagering tells you how much you must bet before bonus winnings become cash. Here is how to read it, and what the 10x cap means for UK players.
Wagering (also called playthrough) is the amount you must bet before winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn. It is written as a multiple: a £10 bonus with 10x wagering means £100 of bets.
What the multiple applies to
Check whether wagering applies to the bonus only, or to the deposit plus the bonus. 10x on a £10 bonus is £100 of bets; 10x on a £10 deposit plus £10 bonus is £200.
The UK cap
In Great Britain, casino bonus wagering is capped at 10x. Offers that ask for more are not allowed for UK players, so this site hides them automatically.
Game weighting and max bet
Slots usually count 100% towards wagering; table games often count less. Most offers also cap your stake while wagering, commonly at £5 a spin. Break the cap and the casino can void the bonus.
